How do I know it’s a Sulleys?
That’s a good question! A lot of Sulleys Ceramics models bear no identifying marks, particularly the smaller ones.
The most common identification is the gold sticker. This comes in several forms, some of which refer to “Sulleys Ceramics, Tunstall” others to “Marjorie Barton, Dovercourt”
Older white stickers refer to “Sulleys Ceramics, Kirby Cross” and on occasion also have the model name hand written on them.
An embossed mark can be seen on the base of many Sulleys although this can be very feint.
Early models can have the initials “MB” on the base.
Wivenhoe Collection Models very often have their own “Wivenhoe Collection” sticker and are named and numbered.
